Restaurant System
WD24
A Windows point of sale for restaurants, cafés and bars. Runs on the till, with or without internet.

- Runs on
- Windows
- Built with
- .NET · SQLite · WPF
64-bit Windows 10 or newer. The installer is unsigned; Windows will ask you to confirm.
WD24 runs the floor: tables and areas, orders, splits and combines, printed and queued receipts, staff, shifts, stock and the reports that come out of all of it. It is installed on the till itself, so a lost connection is a lost connection and not a closed restaurant: everything operational works with no internet at all.
Licensing
The till asks for a licence the first time it runs and shows an installation code. Send us that code, we send back a key, and you type it in once. That is the only time WD24 talks to us about its licence: the year it buys is written to the machine and read from there afterwards, so nothing on our side going down can stop a venue serving.
An expiry is a warning on the screen and never a switch. Software you have paid for does not stop working because a date passed.
Updates
Venues installed through the setup script pick up new versions overnight on their own. The update backs up the database and the program files before it swaps anything, checks that the new version answers, and puts both back if it does not. It refuses to run while there are open orders.
