How Ameltia works: scope in writing, fixed quotes, your name on everything

Most software projects do not go wrong in the code. They go wrong in the sentence nobody wrote down.
Ameltia is a software and network engineering studio in the Balkans. Web platforms, custom software, and the Cisco-grade networks they run on. The people who write the code are the people who crimp the cable.
Three things we put in writing before anyone opens an editor, because they are what clients actually get burned on:
- Out of scope, written as plainly as in scope. A numbered list you approve before anyone prices it.
- A fixed quote in 48 hours. Not a range, not a day rate.
- The repository, the servers and the accounts in your name from the first day. Leaving is always possible, which is the only thing that makes staying mean anything.
It starts with a coffee. Half an hour with the engineers who would build the thing. Nothing quoted, nothing promised, we just want to hear the problem out loud.
Besa. What is promised is delivered, dhe pikë.
The name means something, and it is quite old. Ask us over the coffee.
Building something this touches on? We take on a small number of projects at a time.
